Tanner Hargrove, Ph.D.

Tanner Hargrove earned a Bachelor and Master Degree from West Texas A&M University, a Master Degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, Ca., and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Texas Tech University. He currently works as a private practice therapist with the offices of Amarillo Family Institute and is a full time instructor in the school of psychology @ Amarillo College.
Currently he holds licensure as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor in the state of Texas, and is a National Certified Counselor. Tanner works with couples, adolescents and families, as well as emerging adults.
Tanner is the clinical director for the Hideaway Experience Intensives and works with couples in distress and crisis seeing highly successful treatment using Restoration Therapy. He holds Level II certification in Restoration Therapy and actively pursues those principles in his practice.
Outside of therapy his interests include music, outdoor long distance running, reading, and good meals with good friends and family. His marriage and his children are his life’s sustaining force.
Virginia Monk, M.ed.

Ginny led marriage intensives at the Hideaway Experience since inception in 2006, working with couples in distress and often on the brink of divorce. In 2013 Ginny began development of a training program for therapists and pastors “Ultimate Betrayal Ultimate Success” for use in the treatment and recovery of affairs using the Restoration Therapy model. Ginny frequently speaks at conferences and workshops and has developed several popular presentations including “Addictive Elements of Rage: the Roots and Treatment of Anger”, “Chasing My Pain! Where Does It Come From?” and “Never Dive Into Murky Waters”
Ginny says, “I am passionate about instilling hope through a process of insight and understanding on a journey to strengthen us as individuals and in our marriages; for the healing of our families and the future of our children”. She is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and past President and current member of the Amarillo Area Association of Mental Health Professionals, as well as other various organizations. Ginny was in the private business sector in consulting and marketing for many years previously and with her husband have raised two adult married sons. Her family enjoys playing card and board games, the outdoors, and traveling.

Sherry Randolph is a licensed professional counselor in Texas and a Texas Board Approved Supervisor. She earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University. She has been in private practice as a therapist since 2003 who works with individuals, couples, adolescents, families, and groups. She specializes in men’s issues, marriage, family, and addictions. As one of the Founders of Restoration Therapy, she has actively pursued those principles in her practice.

Jessica Romero, M.A.
Licensed Professional Counselor
Jessica Romero is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Southeastern University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from West Texas A&M University. She is a member of the Texas Counselors Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Jessica is currently trained in Level I of Restoration Therapy and Level 1 of Synergetic Play Therapy.
Jessica primarily works with children, adolescents, and their families struggling with issues regarding anxiety, depression, and attachment. Jessica also works with parents to provide education and practical applicability of parenting skills focused on strengthening attachment in the marriage and with their children . As a clinician, she pulls from the psychological schools of Restoration Therapy, Trauma-Informed, Family Systems, Synergetic Play Therapy and Attachment-Based Therapy.
A spirited extrovert, Jessica’s personal interests involve traveling, an active lifestyle, and spending loads of time with her family and friends. Her hobbies are writing, reading and painting, and she enjoys creative and meaningful storytelling. An active member in her church, Jessica is passionate about her faith in Jesus and helping others find freedom and hope in His truth and love.

Elizabeth Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies from Baylor University and a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from West Texas A&M University. She has over 20 years of clinical experience and currently works in private practice with the offices at Amarillo Family Institute. She works with individuals, couples, and families and specializes in grief, anxiety, depression, pregnancy and postpartum issues and family pain.
Elizabeth is part of the therapist team for the Hideaway Experience intensives and works with couples in distress and crisis utilizing the highly successful treatment of Restoration Therapy. She holds a Level II certification in Restoration Therapy and actively applies these principles in her therapeutic work. She is also certified to administer the Prepare/Enrich Marital and Pre-Marital Inventories.
She is passionate about her work and finds great joy in helping clients find healing and wholeness through the process of therapy.
Elizabeth has been married since 2001 and she and her husband have 3 children. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, reading, making music and being outside in nature.

W. Casey Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas. He earned a B.S. in Art from West Texas A&M University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling as well as his LPC-A from West Texas A & M University. He is currently working as an associate under the supervision of Wib Newton, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S.
Casey works with individuals, couples, young children and adolescents. He currently works as a school counselor at a local elementary school and has experience working with adolescents as a high school art teacher. He is a practicing artist and often uses art as a means of therapeutic intervention for clients dealing with loss, anxiety and other difficult life circumstances. He has experience working with clients dealing with addiction, spiritual issues, grief, depression and trauma. He has written four children’s books over mental health topics like triggers, loss, perseverance and courage.
Casey and his wife have two sons and a daughter here with them and a son and daughter in Heaven. He enjoys drawing, playing guitar, remodeling and spending time with his family.

Melisa Meyer-Chow is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Amy Spears, LPC-S Texas, NCC. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Iowa State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from West Texas A&M University. Additionally, she is a certified Level 1 Restoration Therapist and completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work with couples. She provides counseling services to emerging adults, adults, and couples.
Melisa enjoys helping clients with self-worth issues, anxiety, depression, pre-marital and marital counseling.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has been married for 20+ years and is the proud mother of two incredible boys. She also enjoys traveling, attending church, family movie nights, and being creative.

Mark Tipton PsyD

Dr. Mark Tipton believes that our lives are like a journey. We meet and help each other navigate our journey, using our complementary talents to make the journey easier and to help when we encounter bumps in the road.
Dr. Tipton graduated with distinction from Capella University with a doctorate in clinical psychology. With a rich background in a variety of clients and problems, he has performed medical clearance evaluations, fitness for duty and psychological appropriateness evaluations for police, corrections, federal, and educational institutions. He has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Therapy models.
Dr. Tipton is married and has seven children. He and his wife are very grateful for the two daughters who blessed us with their presence seven years ago. He spends most of his time caring for his wife and children. In his limited free time, he enjoys working out, helping neighbors, and reading ancient Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. He is currently completing Josephus’ Jewish Wars.

Brennan Comer

Brennan leads with empathy and deep compassion, aiming to create a space where clients can feel seen and understood, aways working toward healing. Brennan has worked with people from all walks of life, ages, diagnoses, and reasons for seeking treatment. She provides counseling services for children 10 years and older, adolescents, teens, young adults, and beyond, as well as couples. Brennan enjoys helping clients with self-worth issues, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, career struggles, life transitions, and burnout, as well as pre-marital and marital counseling. As a clinician, she pulls from the psychological schools of Restoration Therapy, Trauma-Informed, Family Systems, and Attachment-Based Therapy.
Family, reading, traveling to new destinations, a great pun, makeup, true-crime documentaries, bunnies, funny animal videos, and family movie nights are some of Brennan’s favorite things. She is active in her church and loves God and his people. Brennan has been married for almost 20 years, and together, they have 2 teenage daughters who are forces of nature, in the best way. Brennan is also tolerated by her dog, “Dogtor Pepper” and a cat, “Dolly Pawton”.

Victoria Cadena

Victoria works primarily with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, attachment patterns, and life transitions. She integrates EMDR, cognitive-behavioral, and other evidence-based interventions, while approaching therapy through a person-centered lens, to help clients process difficult experiences, develop emotional regulation skills, and build greater self-awareness. When appropriate, she incorporates solution-focused approaches to support practical goal-setting and meaningful change. Her background in play therapy and parent work informs her understanding of attachment, relational dynamics, and early emotional development, which she integrates into her work with adults.
Outside of her professional work, Victoria enjoys time with loved ones, nice walks, creative outlets, and meaningful podcasts and books. She lives her life guided by faith and values authenticity, compassion, and connection, striving to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported and empowered at their own pace.
